How to Properly Layer Clothing in Winter?

To prepare your body for the unpredictable winter weather, it’s essential to layer your clothing correctly.

Base Layer (1st Layer)

We start with the layer that keeps you dry and warm. In our collection, the  FURRY long-sleeve shirt for both women and men, along with TONALE PANTS and their women's version, serve this function perfectly. This foundation will wick away sweat, keeping you dry even when you're trying to break your personal record for slopes conquered in a day or kilometers run on cross-country skis.

Insulating Layer (2nd Layer)

The next layer is insulating. You can play with the thickness here, depending on the cold outside or the intensity of the activity you plan. Not to mention whether you're someone who feels cold almost everywhere or, conversely, can brave winter in shorts.

You could choose, for instance, the APHA JACKET or its women’s version, BORU LADY. Sometimes, simply adding the unbeatable UNIQ or UNIQ LADY jacket made from Thindown™ feather material over the Furry long-sleeve will provide the right comfort, keeping you warm during physical activity without making you feel sweaty.

Outer Layer (3rd Layer)

Now comes the most important – the outer layer. The EIGER/EIGER LADY pants, made from Pertex® Shield fabric sourced from the UK, let you enjoy skiing or ski touring regardless of the weather on the slopes. These pants offer a high degree of waterproofing, wind resistance, and breathability.

But it’s not just about the pants. To ensure you're fully protected from the weather, you must also consider the top layer. This could be the waterproof hardshell jacket from our MTS series GUIDE and GUIDE LADY, or the outdoor waterproof COMET/COMET LADY jacket. These hardshell jackets stand out with their well-tailored fit, modern design, and technical details. Their lightweight three-layer membrane material offers excellent breathability, providing perfect protection against water penetration while ventilating sufficiently during any sports activity.
