About Direct Alpine
1997 – Long-time friends and climbing partners Radek Nováček and Jirka Sika, united by their passion for outdoor activities including climbing, paragliding, MTB, telemark skiing, and more, establish a small trading company.
2000 – Jindra "HUDY" Hudeček, owner of the first network of outdoor stores in the Czech Republic, joins the company. This strategic partnership leads to the growth of the Direct Alpine brand both domestically and internationally.
2011 – Begins manufacturing workwear for Italian company Ski Trab, which has been producing high-quality ski touring skis, bindings, and related accessories for 70 years.
2013 – The company receives a business award from the international rating company Dun & Bradstreet. This internationally recognized rating enhances the company's prestige in the business market, not only in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
2018 – Leadership change with the arrival of Jirka Doubrava as the new company leader.
2020 – Starts collaboration on developing and manufacturing top-line products for Swiss company MGG.
2024 – Significant share of products achieved the status of recyclable/recycled/circular products.
