Crafted with Love for Every Detail
Each collection is developed well in advance. While we’re excited to introduce Summer 2025, we’re already finalizing Winter 2025 and fine-tuning Summer 2026. The process of selecting colors, cuts, and technical innovations requires not only creativity, but precision and strategy. We prepare color trends up to 18 months in advance in collaboration with trendsetting agencies.
Our aim is to blend fresh elements with our established color palette to ensure cross-collection compatibility. Every detail is designed so that outdoor pieces can be mixed and matched - both in terms of color and function. A great example is the navy/orchid combo, which flows beautifully across the women’s waterproof jacket COMET LADY, the BRENTA LADY outdoor jacket, or REBEL LADY pants. Meanwhile, navy runs throughout the men’s line in pieces like the CYCLONE waterproof jacket, DRU LIGHT outdoor jacket, and CASCADE LIGHT pants - perfect whether you choose a single item or a full outfit. We’ve paid attention to coordinating zippers and refined cuts that support you in every movement.
Innovation Meets Proven Quality
“The best stories begin where the comfort zone ends,” says our ambassador Fuji. Thanks to the involvement of our ambassadors, we achieve fantastic results. Their feedback is crucial in fine-tuning cuts, construction details, and overall product functionality.
Fuji, for instance, contributed valuable input to the development of the UNIQ LADY down jacket. She later praised it not only for its design but especially for its outstanding insulation. The jacket held up during demanding alpine treks, where Fuji relied fully on its performance. This focus on quality and function is what makes our products trusted companions on any adventure.
One of the key new items in the Summer 2025 collection is the HORN LADY t-shirt - a circular piece made from recycled materials that can be fully recycled again after use. This women’s model builds on the success of the men’s HORN t-shirt and brings us another step closer to the sustainability we value so highly.
A Strong Story Woven into the Design
Another standout from the Summer 2025 collection is the FURRY t-shirt, made from 100% merino wool. The graphic motif of a cactus and rope was created by our long-time collaborator, artist Zuzana Bahulová. She was inspired by her personal journey - overcoming a serious snowboarding injury and the support of friends who helped her get back on her feet. The powerful visual is paired with the slogan “Life’s better with a buddy,” celebrating friendship, mutual support, and the strength to overcome challenges.
The FURRY tee was designed with durability, functionality, and aesthetics in mind - perfect for mountain trails, nature hikes, or everyday life in the city.
Technical Features That Make a Difference
Our products are technically advanced, functional, and durable. Every detail serves a purpose - for instance, the visor on the GUIDE LADY jacket shields your face from bad weather, while ventilation zips allow easy access to base layers.
On the CASCADE LIGHT pants, you’ll find reinforced sections in high-wear areas and breathable panels where you need them most. We’ve thought of everything so you can focus solely on your adventure.
Our Team, Our Heart
The design of our products is in the skilled hands of Tereza Pastvová Pecháčková, a key member of our design team. She’s been passionate about sewing and creating patterns since childhood and now channels her experience into Direct Alpine’s development. As a nature lover herself, she spends time outdoors testing products to ensure only the best reaches you. Her favorite pieces include the REBEL LADY functional pants and the GUIDE LADY hardshell jacket. Her vision? To see more people wearing our designs - in the mountains, the forest, or the city.
